Our STORY
Tuff Cider is the brainchild of Chris Mallia and Ian Schranz. In 2017 they began running the Hole in the Wall in Sliema together. Chris would often bring his home-brewed hard cider to the bar and Ian insisted it was too amazing to remain a secret, so they scaled up production to launch their first official batch in 2019.
The name Tuff derives from the Maltese word for apple; Tuffieħa.
Our CIDER
Tuff Cider is a 100% handmade cider made using only apples from the Czech Republic. It's ideal for Vegetarians, Vegans & Celiacs. It contains no GMOs and is Gluten Free. Each Tuff Cider is bottled by hand and contains at least two apples inside. Tuff Apple & Pear Cider is made literally from Apples, Pears, Water and Carbon Dioxide. Nothing else.
